The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

Genre - Crime, Drama, Mystery
I particularly like the opening to The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo because of how minimalistic it is. Generally the only colours they use are blacks/greys/whites, except for one part in the opening when they use orange to show something being set on fire.
The way the opening is organised, is so that with every beat of the song playing in the background, what is going on on screen changes. It goes from one part to another in a second, forcing you to concentrate more on what's going on.
They use a lot of ink which symbolises the ink in the tattoo, it is running over keyboards, coming out of peoples mouths, and is in nearly ever part of the opening. This could show that through out the whole film, the tattoo is always there.
Most of the opening of this film is animated, and the music in the background gives the whole thing a dramatic effect.
